That Staff Report RPT-0402-23 “Revisions to the 2024 Community Grants Program – Background Report” be received as information; That the Ad Hoc Committee direct staff to provide a report on the following items: That staff be directed to meet with the Brant Community Foundation to gather additional information on costs, timing, and other necessary details with regards to administering the Brant Community Grants program; That funding for 2024 be set at 0.5% of the Operating Budget; That staff be directed to review the evaluation criteria subject to the following considerations; 1) That the ongoing grant category be re-evaluated; 2) That eligibility for places of worship, for profit corporations, and multiple submissions be reviewed; 3) And that large funding requests be separated from the grants process.
