Whereas the County of Brant O.P.P. has been presented with an opportunity to partner with Oxford County O.P.P. to purchase specialized equipment for the Street Crimes Unit, which would serve as shared resources for both communities; And Whereas the County of Brant Police Services Board has expressed the desire that units be owned and funded equally by each municipality; And Whereas the County of Brant Police Services Board support the purchase of this operational equipment; That staff present a proposal to sponsor the purchase of specialized equipment for the Street Crimes Unit.
