That nominations for the position of Chair be closed; And that Member Telfer Faux be declared Chair of the Brant Heritage Committee.

That the election of Vice Chair be

That the Brant Heritage Committee agenda of January 30, 2025 be approved, as amended.

Whereas the Brant Heritage Committee previously supported the proposed alterations to the designated heritage property at 13 Burwell Street, which were approved by Council on April 25, 2023; And whereas the project continues to progress, with updates being provided to the Brant Heritage Committee and Council; Brant Heritage Committee Minutes Page 3 January 30, 2025 Now therefore be it resolved that the Brant Heritage Committee and the County of Brant Council receive this presentation as information regarding the alteration of this designated heritage property.

That mothball conservation efforts to the Bawcutt Centre structure are a necessary investment in the building, if it is to be realized as an asset; And that the roof be the primary focus of the conservation efforts at this time; And that the restoration of the Bawcutt Centre be addressed as soon as possible and further details be reported to the Brant Heritage Committee when available.

That the Brant Heritage Committee minutes of November 7, 2023, be approved.

That the Brant Heritage Committee minutes of December 5, 2024 be approved, as amended.

That the Doors Open 2025 Update be received as information.

That the Joint Heritage Committee Meeting Update be received as information.

That the Brant Heritage Committee endorse the design of the St. George Heritage Vinyl Wrap for the electrical box located at 2 Beverly Street West, St. George. Brant Heritage Committee Minutes Page 5 January 30, 2025

That the Banfield Neighbourhood Group Cultural Heritage Landscape be received as information.

That staff be directed to review the attendance of the Brant Heritage Committee and provide an update at the March 6, 2025 meeting.
