WHEREAS the County of Brant adopted a new Official Plan in May 2023, which was approved with modifications by the Province in October 2024, and significant changes to provincial planning policy have since occurred, including the release of the 2024 Provincial Planning Statement; AND WHEREAS the County has also since adopted a 10-year Arts, Culture, and Heritage Strategy and initiated an Omnibus Official Plan Amendment to support ongoing policy updates and annual monitoring as required under Part 7 of the Official Plan.
