Paramedic Services Committee Minutes Page 3 November 5, 2024 Whereas the 2025 Brantford-Brant Special Olympics Provincial Summer Games will be hosted by the Brantford Police Service, Six Nations Police Service, and Brant Ontario Provincial Police from July 10 to July 13, 2025; And whereas in accordance with the 2025 Special Olympics Provincial Summer Games sponsorship package, any monetary fees will be recognized as an “in kind” donation from the County of Brant and the City of Brantford; That RPT-0493-24 Request to Support the 2025 Brantford-Brant Special Olympics Provincial Summer Games be received; and That the request for EMS support at the Games be approved to include on site EMS services at the opening and closing ceremonies, as an “in kind” donation of $7,600 from the County of Brant and the City of Brantford; and That Brant-Brantford Paramedic Services endeavour to provide on site EMS services to the additional requested Game’s events, as resource capacity permits.
